Have you ever found yourself in a place where you're completely exhausted from trying to hold it all together? Like you're juggling so much and doing everything you can to keep it all from crumbling—but deep down, you have this feeling that maybe it's all supposed to fall apart?
That’s the thought I've been sitting with lately. I’ve navigated that treacherous terrain more than I’d like to admit recently. The losses over the past couple of years have been heavy, and I've been tirelessly holding on to the fragments that remain, hoping to salvage anything that feels familiar or safe. But here’s what finally hit me: maybe I don’t have to hold it all. Maybe, the most healing thing I can do is let it fall apart.
But it’s scary, isn’t it? Letting go of the people, places, and things you once believed were meant for you. To release your grip on something you once wanted so badly, and trust that what’s meant for you will find its way, is taking a giant leap of faith. But when I finally gave myself permission to do just that—to loosen my grip, to let go—I felt something I hadn’t in a long time. I felt free. And here’s the thing I’m discovering:
When you let it fall apart, you create space for everything that is meant for you
When you stop clinging to relationships that drain you, opportunities that diminish you, and situations that keep you small, you make room for the people and places that will see you, celebrate you, and help you grow.
Let people be upset. Let them misunderstand you. Let them criticize and judge. Their opinions are reflections of their own perceptions, not a measure of your worth. You do not need to explain yourself to those committed to misunderstanding you. You are not responsible for how others choose to see you or how they react to your truth.
Stop fearing the unknown.
Stop asking, Where will I go? What will I do? as if the universe hasn’t already carved a path for you. Trust me, I know loss can feel unbearable, but sometimes it’s simply clearing the way for something better. What is meant to leave will leave, no matter how desperately you try to hold on. What is meant to stay will find a way, no matter how uncertain things seem.
There is a rhythm to life, a natural order of endings and beginnings. When we resist that flow, we create suffering. We cling to what is breaking, fearing that nothing good will replace it. But this is an illusion. The universe is abundant, constantly unfolding new opportunities, new connections, and new purpose. The only thing keeping you from it is your attachment to what no longer belongs to you.
There are seats waiting for you at tables you haven’t even seen yet.
You don’t even know the rooms you’ll walk into, the people who will celebrate you, the opportunities quietly unfolding for your future self.
Right now, you might be doubting your worth. You might feel like you’re on the outside looking in, wondering when it will finally be your turn. But please remember this:
There are places being prepared where your presence will be the blessing. Where you won’t have to beg for a seat—because it was built with you in mind.
Keep going.
Your name is already in rooms your feet haven’t entered. The right people, the right timing, the right table—it’s all aligning. And when you get there, you’ll realize that every closed door, every painful ending, everything that fell apart… it was all just redirection to something far greater.
So if you’re feeling like everything is unraveling right now, let it. Trust that what is meant to remain will stay, and what is meant to come will arrive.
Because when you surround yourself with the right people and open yourself to what is truly meant for you, incredible things start to happen.
And never, for a second, believe that the best is behind you.
Life does not stop offering beauty just because you’ve endured hardship. The good has not run out. There is still more joy to experience, more love to receive, more peace to be found. But you must be willing to make room for it.
Let it fall apart, my friend. It might just be the beginning of everything you’ve been waiting for.
